As an emergency doctor working in a large trauma centre in metropolitan Australia I have long held a passionate interest in the latest evidence that can allow me to optimise my patient care.
However, I found would read papers thoroughly and examine the minutiae of the data, but then a few weeks later could barely recall the name of the study let alone any results.
So I created this blog.
This is my way of logging a rapid summary of both the must-know studies one needs to know about to provide high quality and evidence-based resuscitation and emergency care, alongside interesting papers that might just change how you do things on a day-to-day basis.
I’ve made it public with the hope that others may find some small benefit.
